Proxy Servers and School

Well i hear alot about school students finding ways around their schools filtering system. Being a student myself I can say i have done this alot too. Many students only know a few proxy websites that work with their schools filter system. Just to inform everyone i am working hard on a new website that will help everyone with this problem. This website will, not be a proxy itself, but will be a directory type website. It will have tutorials and ways to bypass your schools or works filter system, and also a big proxy website list. Anti-Virus

Anyone who has ever used a computer most likely heard about viruses and all the bad things that can get into your computer via the internet, and other programs. Most people think well oh, all i have to do is download a free anti-virus and i am all set. Wrong. Some of the anti virus programs you think you are downloading for free online are actually viruses themselves. To protect yourself from downloading one of these i suggest doing a little research on the program before you go and download it. Many people ask well is it enough just to download a free one or do i need to go to the store and buy a brand name top of the line anti virus program? Here s the answer, you get what you pay for. By downloading a free anti virus program you will be protected by some viruses but most likely not as good as you would be if you ran to the store and bought a paid one.
A few good ones i suggest that are free are:
AVG – http://free.avg.com
Avast – http://www.avast.com/index.html
Avira – http://www.free-av.com

A Good paid one i use and HIGHLY suggest is:
Webroot – http://www.webroot.com/En_US/index.html
You can find Webroot most likely at any computer store. I bought mine at staples.

Why pay for I-Phone contract?

I’ve been reading how much I-Phone users hate the bill for it. My questions for them is why pay eighty or even a hundred dollars for a cell phone contract every month when you could easily buy an iphone and not put it on ATT and save so much money? That is what i did, and i saved so much. Heres how you do it.

First, what i did was go on ebay and look for a cheap iphone. ( you can also use a different way, the important thing is that you buy an iphone some how)

Once you have your iphone the next thing you have to do is Jail Break it. (to learn how to do this, visit the tutorial)

Next is the important part. Once jailbroken, if done right you will be able to put ANY simcard inside your iphone. What i did was go to T-Mobile, buy a prepaid simcard and activate it under the sidekick prepaid plan. This is only a dollar a day for unlimited- Text, and data. and its 15 cents a minute. I personally have skype so the minute cost was not a problem for me. The simcard cost me 10 dollars at a T-Mobile Store.

Once i bought the simcard i then poped it into my iphone and it began working. To get the data you have to set the APN on your iphone to – hiptop.t-mobile.com

Its only basicly 30 dollars a month for unlimited web and text. This is a far better deal than ATT.
